When you look at a building, its hard to imagine the amount of time and materials go into making each part of it real. The same is true of a website. The good ones aren't made overnight and the bad ones aren't up to code. Just like any structure needs to be accessible to the public, so does your website. This also includes being mobile-ready and being able to give the same user experience across multiple browsers.
Our programming skills however aren't limited to complex site builds, we've also worked on a variety of projects ranging from mortgage calcuation tools, surveys & iPhone/iPad apps. If you can think it up, we can make it real.
A lot of research went into making Corvette-Specialties look how it does. We saw what the competition was doing, and looked at what was fresh & coupled it with proper information hierarchy, creating a clean, easy-to-navigate webiste.
Careful attention was put into look versus usability. What good is a flashy site when it takes too long to load? Or worse, doesn't.
Most online parts stores want to create excitement with videos and big images. We wanted to help Bruce create excitement with clean lines and a rewarding user experience. Just like a Corvette.
When setting up an online shopping cart, its important to remember that people need to feel safe shopping with you AND be able to find what they're looking for.
When we were planning Corvette-Specialties's online shopping cart we took into consideration that many of their customers would be like-minded people: Corvette Owners, DIY Enthusiasts, Mechanics & Shop Owners. We knew that they'd want a straight-forward user-interface that didn't rely on flashiness as much as solid infrastructure.
Not every business owner is also a CSS/xHTML guru. That's why its important to remember back-end usability when planning a site. In our case, Bruce knows brake lines, we know code lines.
We used a custom coded content management system to allow maximum versatility and allow even the least experienced web user to make updates live in seconds. Anyone can log on to list their used cars for sale and have instant access to over 30,000 unique site views a month.
So when there's a new development in the world of Corvettes, or just a new part for sale, Bruce is always the first one on the internet.
When owner Bruce Iggluden came to us and wanted a stronger web presence for his new online parts store, we knew exactly what he needed. A CMS website integrated with an online store through Volusion helped Corvette Specialties take a dominating share over online Corvette part sales.
